Discovery 1: Intro to Christ UMC

Discovery 2: Relevance in Your Faith Journey

Discovery 3: A Heart of Service

Disciple Classes

Disciple Classes provide a disciplined Bible study aimed at developing strong Christian leaders. Disciple Classes include both individual preparation and small group experiences to provide Biblical substance to today's Christian journey. Disciple 1 must be studied before Disciple 2, 3, or 4. Once you have taken Disciple 1, the others may be studied in any order.

Disciple 1: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study

Disciple 2: Into the Word Into The World

This 32-week course encourages persons to open themselves to hearing what God has to say to them through the Bible and to be guided into service in the world by Scripture and their study of it. Disciple 3: Remember Who You Are

This is a 32-week course. Resident in the title is the driving idea in this study, the connection between memory and identity as the people of God. For more information about Disciple 3 please contact the church office at 896-5559 or you may e-mail Jerrod.

Disciple 4: Under The Tree of Life

This 32-week class concentrates on the writings in the Old Testament -- Ruth, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Lamentations, and Daniel. New Testament Scriptures include: the Gospel of John; 1, 2, and 3 John; James; Jude; and Revelation. Christian Believer

This class emphasizes the relationship of worship, belief, and daily life. The beliefs of the Christian community, taught within the Christian community, equip the Christian community for living faithfully and for passing on the faith entrusted to it.

Small Group Ministry

This ministry is very important to Christ UMC. It allows for growth outside of the church. These groups meet in homes and consist of about 8 to 12 people. For more information or to sign up, click here.
