About

At Christ Church we embrace the beautiful diversity of God’s creation. Our church is built on the foundation of love, acceptance, and inclusion, and we take great pride in our intentional focus on ministry for people with disabilities.

You’ll find a warm and supportive community that cherishes every member, celebrating the differences that make us stronger together. Whether you are a person with a disability, a caregiver, or simply seeking to be part of a loving community, we warmly welcome you to join us on this journey of faith, love, and inclusivity. We hope to be a place of deep community for people with disability in Westfield.

Join us for training so that you can serve as a buddy for some of our incredible children and adults with adaptive needs. For many people, full participation in church life is as simple as someone who cares giving a little help. Click here to register for training!

Children

We have adaptations in our classrooms and nursery as well as trained volunteers who know our safety and care protocol. But if you would like your child to stay close to you during worship, we have a special sensory rich children's area in the worship space where your child can be safe while you can fully engage in worship.

Adrian's story

Watch Adrian's testimony. Adrian attends worship with us weekly and is one of the most encouraging people in our church. His joy makes everyone feel welcome. Watch to learn about his life and his experience at Christ Church.

Discipleship

We are dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth and connection, regardless of one’s abilities. Our ministries cater to diverse interests and age groups, with adapted programs and Bible studies that accommodate the unique needs of each individual.

Our Vision

Imago dei

We believe that every individual is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we strive to create an environment that fosters belonging and empowerment for all members of our community. Our commitment to inclusive ministry goes beyond physical accessibility; it extends to the heart and soul of our congregation.

Empowerment

Join us for worship services that are designed to accommodate various needs, ensuring that everyone can fully participate in the joy of collective worship. We provide closed captioning screens and assistive listening devices, making our services accessible to those with hearing challenges. Additionally, our church is built entirely on one level, equipped with wide aisles, movable chairs, and electronic doors to ensure a barrier-free experience.
