About us

We often say that we are church in the heart of the city, with a heart for the city. We have been located in the heart of the Westfield community for more than 170 years. The city hall resides in one of our former buildings. Our congregation was instrumental in starting Open Doors and the Heart and Soul Clinic. Today we are actively working to serve with and for the disability community in Westfield. We have been living for the good of all as witness to the goodness of our God. As a United Methodist Church, we are dedicated to our mission of "Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World." That mission leads us to develop robust ministries of Christian formation within our church and to work for the good of our community outside our church.
