Staff Bios
rev. Dr. Jeremiah Gibbs
Pastor
Jeremiah came to serve as pastor in January 2023. After becoming a Christian in Marine Corps boot camp at 18 years old, Jeremiah was ordained in Assemblies of God. He earned a BA in theology from Eureka College and an M.T.S. and Ph.D in theology from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary.
He has served in church ministry for over two decades, becoming United Methodist in 2016. He has written two books, on Christian apologetics and vocational discernment. Read more of his work on his website. He served as University Chaplain at the University of Indianapolis for 13 years and has served various churches in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.
You will often hear him talking about the Camino de Santiago pilgrimages that he guides in Spain. He often takes church members with him on the Way!
You will often find him working on his Corvette, practicing mediocre guitar riffs, or yelling embarrassingly at his son’s basketball game. He also is going to tell you a story about his many hikes on Camino de Santiago and try to get you to join his next group trip.

VERONICA

WORSHIP DIRECTOR
Veronica started officially as Worship Director in 2026. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor by trade, earning her Master's degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. Connecting with God through music has been part of her spiritual growth since she came to Christ in the 1900s and she loves to invite others to join in.
Veronica moved to Westfield in 2024 and has quickly become a Westfield superfan. You'll often find her with her boys, sporting 'Rocks gear, and supporting small businesses in our community.

ALEXIS LOWRY

Alexis Lowry has been married for nearly 20 years and is the proud parent of five adopted children, ranging in age from 11 to 19. She is grateful for the opportunity to support the ministry and daily operations of the church and enjoys being a welcoming presence for staff, members, and visitors alike.
Alexis has a strong appreciation for organization, communication, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. She is passionate about serving others and supporting the work of the church in meaningful and practical ways.
Her office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
